Orofacial Pain

By the term, orofacial pain everal craniofacial pains ( acute or chronic ) are identified, as well as painful syndromes involving the stomatognathic system and the wider region.

Upon receipt, evaluation of medical history and physical examination, a differential diagnosis is done, ie the correct assessment of causes of the symptom of pain from dental disease or other diseases or general medical conditions, which are given as incidental symptom and orofacial pain.

Often the differential diagnosis is difficult and involves deep knowledge of the anatomy of the wider region and related diseases.

Based on collected data, a comprehensive treatment plan is designed and the prognosis is accurately diagnosed as to clearly inform the patient about his problem and if involved , and other medical and dental specialties be directed appropriately.
