Pediatric Dentistry

The Paediatric Dentistry is the branch of dentistry that deals with health monitoring and addressing the problems of the oral cavity of children and adolescents.

The children’s teeth (deciduous) are quite different from the adult teeth and extra oral cavity of children is in constant change as the child grows and the baby teeth fall giving way to permanent ones. The most important of all, however, is that the child passes consistently at a different stage of development and ability, perception of the world around him and awareness of self.

For these reasons it is important that the dentist / pediatric dentist, dealing with monitoring the oral health of the child to be sensitized and informed on these issues , primarily that it can adapt its communication with the child at the level of perception of the small patient but also to apply the most modern and scientifically proven techniques to address the problems of the oral cavity.
